Revac AS acquires Recipo

The Norwegian recycling company Revac AS becomes the single owner of the producer responsibility organisation Recipo. For Recipo’s affiliated customers, the change will have no impact on agreements, services or ongoing commitments. Recipo will continue its operations as usual in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland.

Revac AS is a Norwegian recycling company with operations in both Norway and Sweden, and has extensive experience in handling electronics and appliances. Recipo is a Nordic partner in producer responsibility for electronics, batteries and packaging, helping companies to meet collection, recycling and reporting requirements throughout the Nordic region.

In connection with the change of ownership, there will also be a change in management at Recipo, with Ivo Edlund stepping down and Vebjørn Eilertsen taking over as the new CEO of the Recipo Group.

In Norway, Recipo’s operations are already being handled in collaboration with Revac AS. Revac is one of Europe’s largest operators in electronic recycling and handles small electronics, white goods and refrigeration units.

What this change means for Recipo’s customers:
Recipo’s operations will continue as usual.
No agreements, services or ongoing projects will be affected.
